Just before midnight last night, most of the residents of Tyldesley would have had no idea that a Comet was streaking away from them in the skies above the light glow of their little town.
This is Comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) and is the best view we've had of a comet since Hale-Bopp in the 1990's.
